The Safety 1st  Y Spindle Banister Adaptor pressure bumpers allow parents to install their Safety 1st Pressure Fit Gate onto a banister, balustrade or any other cylindrical upright. The balustrade needs to have a minimum diameter of 35 mm and maximum diameter 50 mm. The spindle is compatible with Safety 1st Auto Close Pressure Fit Gates, which fit openings between 73 to 80 cm. However with added extensions the gate can extend up to 136cm.
